Pesach Seder Meal in Berlin March 28th

 IMG_8102

We are very excited to be cooking and serving a Pesach seder meal in collaboration with Ulrich Krauss at Zagreus Projekta gallery in the Mitte neighborhood of Berlin that exhibits art and also serves food. By coincidence, the building was originally built (around 100 years ago) as a mikvah — a ritual bath. Some of the original tiles are seen above and below.

My mother was born in 1922 in Frankfurt and my father in Meschede in the Ruhrgebiet in 1914. Your menu for Passover reminds me if my parents Seder menu. I have recipes from her and I try to make the celery root salat and leek salat with a vinaigrette. I have not had Gremsele in years.y father liked it with either applesauce, fruit compote or a wonderful wine cream sauce. Asi live in Chicago I wish I could be there.
If you would like any recipes from my mother for your book please do not hesitate to ask

    Grüß

I’m sooooooo jealous! Come to SF! Please! Anywhere in the Bay Area works. My friend in Berlin shared this with me and plans to attend. I love the idea for it! High five!
